Re-Homed Dogs

Please see the below pictures of dogs we have successfully re-homed and with updates from their new owners (parents).

Fynn

Fynn is a 2 year old GSP, he has been neutered and docked.   As you can see from the pictures he is Liver and White in colour.  He requires a home through no fault of his own and is currently in the Derbyshire area.

If you are interested in Fynn then please contact us for further information.

Sadie

Sadie is an 8 month old GSP bitch, due to her age she has not been neutered. She is liver and white in colour and has a full tail. We've been told that she is housetrained, good with other dogs and she is good with children and other people – although she can be a bit boisterous to start with.

She is currently living with two cats so this is not a problem.  She walks well on a halti, is good in the house and travels well in the car. She has a tendency to find water when out walking but food is the way to her heart. She is looking for a new home through no fault of her own, the family have allergy issues which medication is not helping.

Sadie is now living in the Oxfordshire are and has a "boyfriend" called Hector.

Rupert

Rupert is a 1year old liver and white entire male, he has not been docked. He currently lives with another dog and loves children but due to his age he is very boisterous (as they usually are). We’ve been told that once he settles and gets over the initial excitement he walks lovely on the lead; he is very affectionate and likes to have cuddles on the settee.

He is seeking a new home through no fault of his own; he will ideally need experienced GSP owners who will be able to spend the time with him to channel his intelligence.

Rupert is now in his new home and having a wonderful time.

Frankie

Frankie is a 2 year old GSP dog with a solid black coat except for a small white patch on his chest. He is an entire male, has been docked and he is excellent in all respects. He is seeking a new home through no fault of his own; he can be a bit boisterous. He is good with other dogs, cats, loves people and he loves running out in the fields.

Frankie has now found a special home thats just right for him, good luck Frankie.

Abbie

Abbie is a 6 and a half year old GSP/WHP bitch she looks more like a GSP, she has been spayed, docked and is house-trained. She is looking for a forever home as she has lost her companion and her owners work full time. She is suffering from separation anxiety at the moment which is causing her to be destructive. She is good with other dogs, cats and loves people and is good in the car.

She will need an experience GSP home and although she is whistle trained she is not that obedient (surprise there!!) and she likes to hunt as you can see from the picture above.

Here is a picture of Abbie in her new home with her new pal.

Suzy

Suzy was dropped off at one of our organisers house, she is 2 years old and has a wonderful nature.  She was taken to a foster home by Lee (Thank you ever so much for your help Lee) and is currently settling in well and is proving to be an obedient, loving and funny lass.  Suzy is going to have a permanent home with the fosterer as she has found a special place in her heart.

Bailey (GSP) & Jazz (Weimeraner)

Here are two 6 year old bitches which due to unforeseen circumstances are looking for a new home. They are both docked, speyed, micro-chipped and are in good health.

We’ve been told that they are both excellent with children, dogs, people, horses and most animals except waterfowl; they haven’t had much contact with cats so we are unsure how they would be towards them.

The weimeraner is very laid back and relaxed, the GSP loves attention and needs a consistent approach, if she can get away with something then she will – like sneaking onto the sofa. When she (GSP) was younger she did struggle with being left alone, this has been resolved with training, time and the companionship of the Weimeraner, they are now best of chums which is why they ideally need to be homed together.

Currently they live outside in the day and indoors at night or whenever someone is home. They don’t bark and settle in kennels with no problems. They like to camp, travel well in a car either in harnesses or in a crate. They are obedient and have basic whistle training; they have not been trained to be working dogs.

Bailey and Jazz have been rehomes to an experienced home in Warwickshire where they are going to be loved and spolit.  They will also be introduced to a cat for the first time - we are sure they will be fine as the cat gets out of the way but remains the Boss!!  We are pleased that we have been able to re-home them together - more pics coming soon.

Tara - Re-homed

We were approached by kennels in Scotland to urgently help them re-home a 4 year old GSP bitch. She is now on her way down to Northamptonshire with an experience GSP owner, who is prepared to take her on for us knowing that she might have issues as we know nothing about her.

Ollie - Re-homed

0llie - 15 month male entire lad was successfully rehomed in Scotland and  is now living with his new pal a Weimienar lass who is in charge as you can see.

Bo - Re-homed

Bo is a beatuiful 7 - 8 year old bitch, she is black and white in colour and has been chipped and vaccinated.  She is looking for a new home through no fault of her own, this has been a very hard decision for her current owners.

We have been told she is great on and off the lead, does like to go off when she scents a furry animal - like they all do.  She doesn't like fireworks or cats, she is excellent with adults and children that know how to behave around dogs.

She loves running on the beach and out in the forest and of course loves a good pub lunch afterwards.   She also enjoys playing ball and having cuddles at home.  She is currently down south but for the right home travel can be arranged.

Bo is moving to the East Anglia area - have fun Bo you are going to love it.

Casper - Re-homed

Casper is a beautiful 5 1/2 month old male, he has been chipped and docked.  We have been told he is fully housetrained, brilliant with children, biddable and has an excellent temperament.  His colour is solid liver and we are hoping to have some pictures of him soon.

He has been given lots of love and has had a great start in life but due to the significant change in his family's working arrangements he has started to escape from the garden.

He is looking for a new home through no fault of his own and he loves walking in the woods and doing all the normal GSP things.  He is currently in the West Yorkshire area.

Here is Casper in his new home and enjoying the snow.

On 26th April 2010 Casper completed is first sponsored walk in aid of Prostate Cancer Awareness - Well done to Casper and his parents for completing the walk.

Freya - Re-homed

Freya is a 3 and half year old bitch, she is liver in colour and has not been spayed. She is absolutely good as gold and due to job relocation she is forced into rescue and so we are looking for an extra special home for her.

Here is Freya with her best friend Polly.

Otto - Re-homed

Otto is a 4 year old male, he has been micro-chipped and docked. He is flashy liver and white in colour – new baby is taking time away from him.

We have been told he is good with other dogs but not cats, he does pull on the lead but a Gencon will do the trick (see our links page). He is good off the lead, needs to be close to you and is anxious when left alone although not destructive we are lead to believe.

Otto is in the Staffordshire/Shropshire area and we would like him to be re-homes where he can have one to one love and company.

Otto has been re-homed in Yorkshire.

Willow - Re-homed

Willow is a 3 year old bitch, she is liver in colour and been spayed. She has been re-homed in Suffolk with a GSP pup.

Bill - Re-homed

Bill is a 4yr old male, we've been told he is good with children but can sometimes be wary of other dogs.  He currently needs rehoming through no fault of his own.

Here is Bill relaxing in his wonderful new home in Suffolk. enjoy yourself Bill!!!!

Bracken - Re-homed

Bracken is a 4 year old bitch, she is liver/white and has been docked, and she has not been spayed.  We have been informed that she is good with other dogs and children, at present she lives outside so will need to be housetrained which with this intelligent breed shouldn't be a problem.

Here are some pictures we have received of Bracken in her new home, she certainley looks to be enjoying herself.  We've also been told she has now spent her first ever night indoors in the kitchen, she was quiet and clean.  Her new owners are really impressed with how well she is doing.

George - Re-homed

George is a young acting energtic 10yr old male and is a big softie,  he has been docked and neutered.  We've been told he is good with children and other dogs.  He is housetrained and enjoys spending time in the garden providing there are no escape holes for him to find, as he does like to chase pheasants.  He currently needs re-homing through no fault of his own.

George has now been re-homed and is living in the Suffolk area with a GSP bitch.
